Traffic on RAR

Portfolio

Traffic launched an awareness campaign for a government-backed, Prison pilot-scheme designed to help break the cycle of re-offending amongst short-term prisoners.

The campaign promoted a scheme called the ONE service. 3,000 prisoners, sentenced to less than 12 months, received intensive and tailored support from specialist providers. The scheme was run with funds raised through a Social Impact Bond, a new vehicle for delivering investment into the social sector. The pilot was the first project of its kind in the world.

Traffic was appointed on the basis of its strong track record in the social sector. The agency has developed the brand identity and a poster campaign that highlights the help available to prisoners during and after Prison.

Jeanette Powell of Social Finance, the organisation behind the ONE service said:

“We have had an encouraging response and some very positive feedback so far from both prisoners and staff at Peterborough. The messages are clear, relevant and highly visible.”
